Job Summary

Johnson University (Knoxville, TN), is seeking applications for the Johnson Hall Resident Director (RD). The RD oversees the physical state of the residence building and the physical, spiritual, educational, and emotional wellbeing of students residing within it. The RD supervises student staff (Resident Assistants) and oversees most aspects of the residence hall, including programming and activities. The RD promotes residents’ development of skills for leadership, decision-making, conflict resolution, fiscal management, problem solving, and self-discipline. The RD also participates in the spiritual life of campus by fostering intentional community that promotes discipleship and spiritual formation amongst the residents.
